Miraj Trading – Shipping Updates During the National Strike

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced a nationwide strike following the federal government's statement on September 25th, 2025, regarding major changes to Canada Post operations.

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, we regret to inform you that our free shipping policy on orders over $175 is temporarily suspended. To ensure uninterrupted delivery of your orders, we have implemented a flat rate shipping policy and will be utilizing alternative shipping carriers during this period.

New Flat Rate Shipping Policy:

• Ontario and Quebec: $7 for orders over $175
• Other Provinces in Canada: $9 for orders over $175

Below are some frequently asked questions and how Miraj is handling shipping during this period.

❓ Q: How will you be shipping orders during the strike? Will there be delays?

Yes, there may be delays due to increased shipping volumes.
All orders that would normally be shipped via Canada Post Expedited will be sent through UPS/Purolator/Canpar/others for the duration of the strike.

Please note: While we aim to process orders quickly, Carriers may experience delays due to higher demand across the country.

❓ Q: My order has already been shipped via Canada Post. What happens now?

Orders already in transit with Canada Post may be delayed during the strike.
Once postal services resume, packages will be delivered on a first-in, first-out basis. We appreciate your patience while Canada Post clears the backlog.

❓ Q: My order hasn't been fulfilled yet. Can I switch it to in-store pickup?

If your order has not yet been picked and packed, we may be able to switch your shipping method to local pick-up.

We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but note that not all orders may be retrievable in time.

❓ Q: Can I choose an alternate shipping method like FedEx or CanPar?

Yes, we can offer alternate carriers on request (e.g., FedEx, CanPar, DHL), however:

• These options are not included in our standard shipping rates

• Additional fees will apply
